What is sermorelin?
Sermorelin is a peptide that signals the pituitary gland to release growth hormone, rather than supplying growth hormone directly. It is prepared for an individual patient by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and is prescribed only after a licensed physician reviews your history and decides it is appropriate for you.
How is it monitored?
Monitoring is handled by your prescribing physician, who decides what your treatment needs and reviews it as you go. You can message the clinic at any point during treatment.
What happens if I'm not approved?
You are not charged for medication. Your card is authorised at checkout and charged only when your pharmacy ships. If a physician decides sermorelin is not appropriate for you, they will explain why and discuss the alternatives.
Important safety information
Sermorelin is not appropriate for everyone, and it is contraindicated in people with an active malignancy. It is not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your physician reviews your full history before prescribing.
Reported effects include injection-site reactions such as redness, swelling or itching, and less commonly headache, flushing, dizziness or nausea. Tell your provider about every medication you take, and report anything unexpected during treatment.
