Fifteen years before this was a category
Prolean Wellness opened in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2011. Metabolic health, body composition, weight that stays off — years before GLP-1 medications existed, and long before any of this was something people had opinions about.
Goprolean is how that practice reaches the rest of the country.
What a clinic teaches you
Fifteen years and more than 12,000 client accounts is a slow way to learn things.
And some of them are hard to learn any other way.
The scale is a poor instrument.
We put a DEXA scanner in the clinic because weight on its own tells you very little. What matters is what the weight is made of, and whether you are losing the part you meant to lose.
Medication is a tool, not a plan.
We spent more than a decade helping people change their metabolic health without these drugs. They are a real advance. They are also not a substitute for the food, the muscle and the follow-up — and the people who do best are the ones who understand that at the start rather than the end.
Most people have not been listened to.
The single most common thing our clients tell us is that someone finally explained things and did not try to sell them anything.
What Goprolean does
Goprolean is our medication platform.
You complete a medical intake. A clinician licensed in your state reviews it and decides whether treatment is appropriate — and sometimes decides it is not. If it is, your prescription is dispensed by a licensed pharmacy and shipped to your door, and you have a care team for the dose adjustments and check-ins that follow.
The clinicians who treat you through Goprolean are licensed where you live. Scottsdale is where the approach came from; it is not where your prescription is written.

Prolean Wellness still operates at 9360 E Raintree Dr in Scottsdale — DEXA scanning, metabolic testing, nutrition and coaching, in person.
If you are in the Phoenix area, you can come in, and many of our clients use both. If you are not, Goprolean is how we reach you.
